BOSTON, MA - Asako Nagashima’s first solo mini album titled “Healing at Home” will subsequently be released in November 15th .

Recorded at the historic Powerstation in NYC with legendary Recording Engineer, Bernie Kirsch, and mixing by Johnathan Wyner, Asako’s album is full of beautiful and serene melodies that soothes the listeners. It makes sense that Asako created this album while working on her “Stay home project” since March of 2020 , to create tranquil music for the public during the height and chaos of the pandemic. 

A note from Bernie Kirsh on recording this album. “I had the pleasure of recording Asako-san and enjoyed listening to her wonderful performances. She is a gifted pianist and her interpretations are wonderfully creative."

Asako was born and raised in Japan.

Her mom was a professional  opera singer.So she grew up with classical music.

She earned a Bachelor degree in Music 

,Double major in Musicology and piano performance from Osaka University  of Arts. Then moved to Boston, MA in USA.

 She received a Master degree in Music , Major in Piano performance from NewEngland Conservatory of Music. 

Asako is well known Pianist and accompanist with an amazing  musicality

and a beautiful sounds.

She has been the music director at Watertown Children's Theater since 2008 to present .

Also very popular private piano teacher/educator locally for more than 20 years.

Asako has performed for

The 20th century composers piano Festival at William hall, at NewEngland Conservatory, Boston.MA.

The 35th Anniversary of ABC ( Asahi -Broadcasting Co.) at Symphony Hall in Osaka, Japan which was broadcasted ,  

 Osaka New Artist concert  at Piloti Hall, in Osaka,Japan.

Asako has been performing and music directing more than 30 productions for Watertown Children's Theatre at Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown,MA.

She has been performing with Voice of Peace at thier summer concert as a special guest at Royal Horse in Osaka,Japan for many years.

Also collaborated with the other artists

such as a Dancers, Vocalists, Strings Players locally in Boston,MA many times.

She’s been an accompanist for district of Watertown public school about 15years.

Also an owner and active private piano teacher at Asako Nagashima Piano Studio for many years.
